The Brow is a family home with delightful charm. It sleeps 13 people. There is the formality of the drawing room with a Steinbeck piano, open fireplace and breathtaking views over the Dee valley.
The kitchen, with a French farmhouse style, has a larder stocked with home dried edible rose petals, home made jam, and herbs. The formal dining room seats 16 comfortably.
There are two further sitting rooms overlooking the Dee valley, both with TVs. The main sitting room has a woodburner, the old library – or ‘teenage den’ – also includes table football and a range of games for all ages.
Upstairs, there are three en suites, all with double beds. Three further twin rooms and one single are available with a shared family bathroom. Three of the bedrooms overlook the Dee valley with the remaining looking towards the garden. Children can enjoy the well stocked dressing up box!
To complement the well proportioned rooms, the house is set over a number of different levels. As you delve further down, you will find the ‘old kitchen’ with full laundry facilities and pulleymaid dryer. This room leads into a cellar with table tennis in a vaulted room and wine cellar stocked with boots of all sizes.
