Getting here

By Car:

Overton is on the Welsh Borders.  Use Sat Nav LL13 0HF, but please bear in mind the following:  If traffic is heavy or you are travelling in rush hour, take the M6 toll road.  Also, if you are travelling along the M54, Sat Nav will recommend leaving at junction 3 – ignore this, but keep going until you reach the roundabout at Shrewsbury.  Then take a right following signposts to Ellesmere on the A528 (noting that at Harmers Hill, the A528 forks left at the pub).  Go through Ellesmere until you reach a roundabout, then take a right following signs to Overton.  In Overton, you reach a T-junction.  Take a left and follow the road bending right, pass the church, then left.  Pass the playing fields on the right, then at the end of the row of terraced houses on the left there is stone wall with black gates set back from the road; you are there!

By Train:

The closest station is Ruabon, though there is a direct Wrexham/Euston line.  Taxis can be arranged from Ruabon, Wrexham, Chester or Crewe.  The earlier you apply the cheaper the ticket.
